A: My name is Dustin Hecker and I am a Independent Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils.

A: I have been using Young Living since 2012. I first started using the products then started using it as a business shortly after.

A: Young Living is an Awesome Company. I love the idea that it has the Seed To Seal Process that is the only company like it. Also I love how Young Living takes care of its Members and is always trying to help better inform there members.
Q: Why did you get started with Young Living?
A: I had started using Young Living because I was looking for natural alternatives to help better my health and wellness. I have had some things going in my life that I wanted to in cooperate Young Living Products in to my daily regimen.

What is CBD?
CBD is an acronym for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol, is a one of the main natural cannabinoids in the industrial hemp plant.
Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that attach to the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) receptors in your body and brain.
Hemp has more than 113 known cannabinoids in it.
The receptors are inside the membranes of your cells in your body.
Research has identified two
cannabinoid receptors. CB-1 is found primarily in the nervous system, connective tissues, gonads, glands, and
organs. CB-2 is mainly in the immune system and related areas.

How does CBD work?
CBD interfaces with your body's Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS coordinates systems in the body like hunger, emotions, pain, recall, parts of the nervous system, etc. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are all over the body, including connective tissue, organs, brain, glands, and immune cells. The cannabinoid system performs different tasks depending on the tissue, but in all cases, homeostasis is the desired outcome.
Homeostasis refers to a system being in a stable or balanced state. It is the body's mechanism to maintain a steady internal environment, which it does by always monitoring and adjusting based on current conditions. For example, when we become stressed, our adrenal glands release cortisol. This is commonly known as the "fight or flight" hormone, which lets us react quickly in a dangerous situation.
Is CBD Safe?
CBD is considered "generally well-tolerated with a good safety profile" in a 2018 World Health Organization report. Getting your CBD from a safe, trusted company with high quality controls is very important; many CBD companies do not have adequate quality control and don't know where their product is sourced. CBD versus THC
CBD and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, which is also in the cannabis plant) are different. Sometimes, the two are confused. CBD is not psychoactive and does not cause the euphoric side effects THC is known for. This means CBD products can be used without concern that THC would cause a reaction.
CBD and THC both bind to the CB-2 receptor while interfacing with the CB-1 receptors differently. THC's molecular composition allows it to bond directly with CB-1 receptors. When this bond is formed, the reaction creates brain signals that trigger psychoactive effects of THC. CBD does not bond directly with CB-1 receptors according to research. Its presence can invalidate the bond between THC and the CB-1 receptors, canceling side effects caused by THC.
Are hemp & marijuana the same?
No, they are different. Both plants are in the same Cannabis plant family, but hemp is completely different from marijuana in how it works, how it's grown, and how it's used.
Will CBD get me "high"?
No. CBD does not have euphoric side effects.
